ATT Privacy Policy
Applies to PuzzlesTime apps that ask for tracking permission and may serve personalised ads. Last updated: 1 January 2026.
Short version: these apps show you Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you tap Allow, we and our advertising partners may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to show ads matched to your interests and to measure them. If you tap Ask App Not to Track, the identifier is not used, ads become non-personalised, and the game works exactly the same.
For our apps that never track, see the standard Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
PuzzlesTime ("we", "us") develops and publishes mobile puzzle games. This policy explains what information these apps process, who receives it, and how you stay in control. Contact: support@puzzlestime.com.
2. App Tracking Transparency — your choice
On iOS 14.5 and later the app presents the system ATT prompt before any tracking takes place. Your answer is respected for as long as you keep it, and you can change it at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
| Your answer | What happens |
|---|---|
| Allow | The IDFA may be shared with Google AdMob and its advertising partners to select personalised ads, cap how often you see the same ad, and measure installs and conversions. |
| Ask App Not to Track | No IDFA is read or shared. AdMob is set to non-personalised ads. Analytics continue in an aggregated, non-tracking form. |
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland we additionally show a consent message (Google's UMP / a certified CMP) so you can accept or refuse personalised advertising and, where offered, withdraw consent later from the app's settings.
3. Information processed
| Data | Purpose | Handled by |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising identifier (IDFA / Google Advertising ID) — only with your permission | Personalised ads, frequency capping, attribution and measurement | Google AdMob and its ad partners |
| Coarse location (country / region derived from IP) | Serve locally relevant ads and comply with regional rules | Google AdMob |
| Device model, OS version, language, app version | Compatibility, bug fixing, ad rendering | Firebase, AdMob |
| Usage events (levels started/finished, sessions, ad impressions and clicks) | Product improvement and revenue reporting | Firebase Analytics, AdMob |
| Crash logs and performance traces | Fix crashes and slowdowns | Firebase Crashlytics |
| Purchase receipts | Deliver and restore purchases | Apple / Google (payment card details never reach us) |
We never collect your name, email, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise GPS location, and the app does not require an account.
4. Advertising partners
Advertising is delivered by Google AdMob, which may work with third-party demand partners and mediation networks. Their handling of data is described in Google's partner-sites notice and the AdMob partner list. If you have not allowed tracking, these partners receive a non-personalised ad request without your advertising identifier.
5. Firebase
We use Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, and where applicable Cloud Messaging) to keep the app stable, run remote configuration, and understand aggregate usage. Where you have not consented to tracking, Firebase is configured so analytics data is not used for advertising personalisation. See the Firebase privacy documentation.
6. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
- Consent — personalised advertising and any use of the advertising identifier.
- Legitimate interests — app stability, security, fraud and invalid-traffic prevention, aggregate product analytics, and serving non-personalised ads to fund a free game.
- Contract — delivering the game and any purchase you make.
7. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money. Under the CCPA/CPRA, showing personalised ads may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising; declining the ATT prompt, or using the consent controls, opts you out. Otherwise we disclose data only to the providers named above or where legally required.
8. Retention
Advertising identifiers are retained by our advertising partners according to their own policies. Firebase analytics events follow Google's retention settings (typically up to 14 months). Data held on your device disappears when you delete the app.
9. Children
These apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age locally). Where an app or user is treated as child-directed, tracking and personalised advertising are disabled regardless of the ATT answer.
10. Your rights
- Change or revoke tracking permission at any time (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
- Reset or limit your advertising identifier from your device settings.
- Request access, correction, deletion, portability, or object to processing, by writing to support@puzzlestime.com.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, relying on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
12. Changes
Material changes will be announced in the app and reflected in the date at the top of this page.
