Ten questions, ten honest answers.

01 Do I need an internet connection to play?

No. All our games are offline-first. Puzzles, progress, and stats are stored on your device. An internet connection is only needed if an app shows ads or when you install an update.

02 Is a sign-up or account required?

No account is required for any of our games. Open the app and start playing — no sign-up, no login, no email collection.

03 How do I sync progress across my devices?

If you have iCloud Backup enabled in iOS Settings, your puzzle progress and stats are included in your encrypted iCloud backup and restored when you set up a new device.

To enable: Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → iCloud Backup.

04 I lost my progress after reinstalling. Can it be recovered?

Progress is stored locally. If you had iCloud Backup enabled before uninstalling, you can restore the device from a backup to recover it. Otherwise, uninstalling the app deletes its local data.

05 How do I turn off ads or tracking?

When the app asks to track you via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, choose "Ask App Not to Track". You can change this at any time from Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

06 Which games are currently available?

Sudoku Puzzles is our flagship — available now on the App Store. Several more titles are in active development, including a daily Crossword, Word Search, and Nonograms. The full roadmap lives on the studio page.

07 I found a bug or have a feature request. How do I report it?

Please email contact@puzzlestime.com with a short description. If possible, include:

  • Your device model — e.g. iPhone 15 Pro
  • Your iOS version
  • The app version — Settings → About inside the app
  • Steps to reproduce the issue
08 Which devices are supported?

Our apps are available on iPhone and iPad running recent versions of iOS / iPadOS. Check each app's App Store page for exact compatibility.

09 Are my stats or puzzle data stored on your servers?

No. All stats — best times, streaks, completion counts — are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts or personal profiles.

10 Do you plan to release a subscription or premium tier?

If a subscription is ever introduced, it will be honest, skippable, and will never lock core gameplay behind a paywall. We believe in puzzles that work, not dark patterns.

Mark candidates in corners before committing to a value — essential for Hard and Expert.

Start by finding cells where only one number can fit in a row, column, or 3×3 box.

Take a break

The puzzle pauses automatically when you leave the app. Resume where you left off.

Switch to Dark theme in Settings — easier on the eyes during long evening sessions.
